As Johnson relays: “I realized a few years ago that there are real life angels in this world, people who come into your life and accept and love you for exactly who you are. I’m not a religious person, but I love that sentiment and metaphor.  This song is about the uncertain joy in realizing these real life angels exist, and the cathartic recognition of who those real life angels are in your life….We all deserve real life angels. We are all worth it, and we are all good enough to love and be loved.
